The Critics

4
  1. No. 01

    The Maven

Has probably already read it. Bonus points for murder.

  2. No. 02

    The Tastemaker

Knows what's good before the rest of us do.

  3. No. 03

    The Dowager

Demands good prose. Will make exceptions for excellent smut.

  4. No. 04

    The Connoisseur

Selective by taste. Also by available time.

WHY FOR JILL?

Some books you’d recommend to anyone. Others, you’d only recommend to a particular friend.

For Jill is for those books.

Four friends, four very different tastes, and the books we think are worth passing along—because the best recommendation isn’t just about whether a book is good. It’s about knowing who will love it.
